Lusail :The project involves development of an urban community that will be a self-sustaining mix of residential, commercial, retail, hospital, resort, and entertainment venues. It will cover a 35 sq. kilometer area along 8.5 kilometres of shoreline site. The development will include a large blue water lagoon with two marinas, naturally functional silt-free beaches as well as all the necessary social amenities such as mosques, parks, schools, shopping centers and medical centers. It will also consist of golf courses, business and office districts, and a marina with an additional 80 plots of land. The marina plots will include high rise residential and commercial towers. State-of- the-art buildings, services and facilities to accommodate 200,000 people is what the project will offer at the end of its completion.

The project involves development of a man-made island spanning an area of over 3.2 million square meters at West Bay and connected to the mainland by a bridge.
